Here’s another big gallery of cars making the scene earlier this week at the Woodward Dream Cruise—this bunch from the Woodward and 13 Mile area on Thursday night.
Woodward is a car spotter’s paradise. Keep your eyes open and you might see anything.
Organizers estimate that something like 50,000 enthusiast vehicles appear for the main event on Saturday in front of around one million spectators. At that point the Dream Cruise might be more accurately described as the world’s longest parking lot. It can take an hour or more to travel one mile up the avenue, especially in the most congested area between 12 Mile and 14 Mile Roads.
So if you’re not into crowds, you could always just kick back with your laptop and take in the slide show below. If you’re prepared to brave the mobs on Saturday, see you there.
