 At an industry conference, Ford chief financial officer John Lawler said he expects new car prices in 2024 to fall to relative 2019 levels and carmakers to offer more incentives. More at the Detroit Free Press. 

GM Defense has landed a 10-year contract worth up to $300 million to produce heavy-duty Chevrolet Suburbans with special armor for the United States government. More at Motor Authority.

 EV maker Fisker announced it will scale back production this month and produce fewer cars this year than its previous guidance in order to build up more operating capital. More at Reuters.
