+   Mercedes-Benz will partner with Luminar Technologies of Silicon Valley, a leading supplier of sensors, to equip the car maker’s next generation of autonomous vehicles. More at Reuters. 

 Cadillac confirmed that it will offer an Escalade V to be powered by the same supercharged 6.2L V8 with 668 hp currently found in the CT5-V Blackwing sedan. More at Car and Driver.

+   While Ford and Rivian cancelled their plans to build an electric truck together, the Dearborn automaker reports it made $8.2 billion on its $800 million purchase of Rivian stock. More at Motor Trend.
