 Toyota announced it will recall 2,700 examples of the bZ4X SUV, its first volume-production electric vehicle, to correct a defect that could cause the wheels to come loose. More at World Auto Forum. 

 A 1955 Chrysler New Yorker owned and driven by former President Harry Truman, in fully restored but currently non-running condtion, is for sale by a Pennsylvania car dealer. More at Car and Driver. 

 DB Schenker, one of the largest logistics providers in the world, is acquiring USA Truck for approximately $435 million, strengthening Schenker’s position in North America. More at Commercial Carrier Journal. 

 Martin Truex Jr., the 2017 NASCAR Cup champion who at 42 has reportedly been considering retirement, will remain in the driver’s seat at Joe Gibbs Racing in 2023. More at Fox Sports.

  1. Harry Truman took his trip in 1953, so – no, this wasn’t the car that he drove on that trip.

  2. Also, the picture associated with the article, showing Truman at the wheel, is that of a 1955 Dodge.
