+   Navistar International has tentatively agreed to be acquired by Volkswagen’s Traton truck division, which already holds a 16.9 percent stake in the U.S. truck manufacturer. More at Reuters.

+   Shane van Gisbergen and four-time victor Garth Tander won the Bathurst 1000 at Australia’s Mount Panorama, scoring the final victory for Holden in the historic event. More at ESPN.

+   The standard Honda CIvic will not be available with a manual transmission in 2021, while the two-door coupe will also be phased out at the end of the ’21 model year. More at The Drive. 

+   Tesla has rolled out updates for its Model 3 sedan, which include improvements in range and acceleration and black exterior trim replacing the previous chrome pieces. More at CNET Roadshow. 

 Female ARCA star Hailie Deegan, who won Rookie of the Year and finished third in the season championship in 2020, will move up to the NASCAR Truck series full time next year. More at NBC Sports.
