 Hyundai has unveiled the Staria, a minivan with with futuristic styling that will be available in select global markets in 2021 but not in the United States, the company says. More at Autoblog. 

+   Michigan representatives Andy Levin and Rashida Tlaib have joined fellow members of  Congress in introducing legislation to invest $500 billion in electric mass transit. More at The Detroit News. 

+   Noted German race driver and BBC “Top Gear” personality Sabine Schmitz, known as “the queen of the Nurburgring,” has passed away at 51 following a battle with cancer. More at CNN Sports. 

 Lamborghini reported record profits for 2020 propelled by the delivery of 7,430 cars for the year, adding that the company now has nine months of orders booked for 2021. More at CNBC. 

 BMW is launching its i4 electric sedan three months ahead of schedule as the automaker ramps up its plans to generate 50 percent of its sales from EVs by 2030. More at The Detroit Bureau. 

+   Just weeks after Tiger Woods survived a serious crash in a 2021 Genesis GV80, the SUV earned a Top Safety Pick Plus rank from the Insurance Institute for Traffic Safety (IIHS). More at Car and Driver. 

 Electric truck maker Rivian announced its plans for a vehicle fast-charging network that will include 600 stations by 2023 and be branded as the Adventure Network. More at CNET Roadshow. 

 Mitsubishi is parting ways with 14 historic vehicles spanning 43 years from its corporate collection, including several Lancer Evos, with the sale to be handled by Auto Auction. More at The Drive. 

+   NASCAR Cup driver Bubba Wallace completed a successful Goodyear tire test of the series’ Next-Gen race car that will join the competition starting in the 2022 season. More at Jayski.
