 U.S. new vehicle sales slipped 2.8 percent to 1.26 million units in February, an annualized rate of 16.8 million and well below industry forecasts. More at The Detroit News.

+   The NTT IndyCar Series and Sky Sports have signed a deal to broadcast every qualifying session and race in the United Kingdom on the same channel that airs Formula 1. More at Racer. 

+   Volkswagen’s Porsche unit reports it is cooperating with state prosecutors to resolve alleged tax debts related to early retirees and taxable benefits for former executives. More at Reuters.

 The winner of the 2019 Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama is Cadmad, a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham built by Super Rides by Jordan for the late Joe Barton. More at Hot Rod Network. 

+   After 50 years, owners Bob and Patricia Bondurant plan to sell the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving as part of the company’s Chapter 11 reorganization plan. More at Classic Cars.com Journal. 

  On March 14, Tesla will introduce its Model Y SUV with a price 10 percent greater than the Model 3 and roughly equal range, CEO Elon Musk announced via Twitter. More at CNBC.

 The popular Fox-bodied Mustangs of 1979-93 will be the featured Blue Oval products at the giant Carlisle Ford Nationals on May 31-June 2. More at Hemmings Daily.
