What are they going to do impose tariffs on GM, Ford, Chrysler ??? There is more American content in Honda, Nissan and Toyota cars that are made here in this country than so called American cars. Japan and Germany’s reaction to tariff threats in the 70’s and 80’s was to start manufacturing here which they have done. The cars today are not only just assembly of parts from those countries, but they use American steel, electrical components, build their own engines with their own foundries all in America.
