 The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has filed suit against the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for failing to issue replica car guidelines. More at Hemmings Daily. 

 Renault cut its revenue guidance for 2019 again and lowered its profitability forecast, citing the global slowdown and difficulties in the Turkish and Argentine markets. More at Reuters. 

+   Ford announced it will bring more than 50 customized vehicles to the annual SEMA trade show next month, intending to have the largest manufacturer presence in the event. More at Autoblog. 

 Stewart-Haas Racing announced that it has extended its contract with driver Clint Bowyer through the 2020 season, his fourth year with the Ford-powered NASCAR team. More at NBC Sports.
