+   United Auto Workers leaders are meeting in Warren, Michigan to map out their next moves after the membership voted down a four-year contract proposal from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. More at The Detroit News. 

+   Michael Horn, Volkswagen’s top U.S. executive, will appear before an investigations panel of the House Energy and Commerce Committee next week to testify on the company’s diesel scandal. More at Reuters.

+   A new study from the American Journal of Epidemiology found that poor and uneducated people die in auto accidents at far greater rates. More at Autoblog.
