 Roush Fenway Racing announced that Chris Buescher will replace Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the driver’s seat of the no. 17 NASCAR Monster Cup Ford next season. More at Yahoo! Sports. 

 Michigan-based EV startup Bollinger Motors has rolled out a pair of electric off-road prototypes, the B1 SUV and B2 pickup, each equipped with a 614-hp drivetrain. More at Autoblog. 

 Reorganizing its operations in India, Ford Motor Company has transferred most of its assets there to a joint venture with local producer Mahindra & Mahindra. More at the Detroit Free Press.

 Shares in Tesla jumped more than 5 percent when Elecktrek, an electric vehicle news site, reported that CEO Elon Musk is gunning for a record 100,000 cars this quarter. More at CNBC. 

 John Della Penna, a CART, IRL, and Formula Atlantic team owner who gave many young drivers a shot, including Jimmy Vasser and Richie Hearn, has passed away at 68. More at Racer.
