More from EyesOn Design 2013

As promised, here’s a second big photo gallery from the 2013 EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibition.

You can find part one of the 2013 Eyes on Design Coverage here.

Since folks are bound to ask, the hood ornament above is from a 1937 Terraplane (owner, Bob Elton). Now, is this an awesome piece of automotive hardware or what? If you looked high and low, could you find a better example of the Streamline Moderne movement in design, materials, and spirit?

And there’s the strength of EyesOn Design: Whatever you happen to be looking for in the wild world of automotive design, just come to the show. From brass age to carbon fiber, from Rolls-Royce to Crosley, you can probably find it here. There’s not much you won’t see in the expertly curated assortment of 240-odd cars on the lawn at the Henry and Eleanor Ford House. Gallery below.

  1. That’s a 1955 Thunderbird. 1955 didn’t have the side vents between the front wheels and doors. 1956 added those. 1957 had tailfins.
