More from the 2013 Detroit Autorama

Here’s another big gallery of great cars from the 2013 Detroit Autorama.

In this gallery are included a few more past Ridler winners from the 50th anniversary exhibit, as well as some alternate views of this year’s Pirelli Great 8 winners. You can view all the 2013 Great 8 finalists here. For a big photo essay of all 49 previous Ridler winners through the years, click here.

Also included: vehicles from the Pfaff Designs 10th anniversary display—including Mark Stielow’s all-conquering ’67 Camaro Pro Touring, winner of the most recent Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Also watch for the latest from Jeff Schwartz and Schwartz Performance, a twin-turbo 1981 Trans Am he calls Full Force. Gallery below.

  1. I’m not into hot rods much but all of those look fantastic and I’d be proud to own any of them. That ’56 Buick looks even sweeter than the picture you posted a few days ago. But if I could take any of them home, it would probably be the two-tone green Chuck Miller 1932 Ford Roadster.

It doesn’t appear that Tr-Chevys, or ponycars will ever push aside the old Fords, and that even after thousands of interpretations those old Fords look fresh. I’m also struck by the fact that there’s a narrow range of things that can be done with wheels. All the more reason why we need the flying cars they promised.

  2. The black ’61 Impala is unbelievable. How it didn’t make the Great Eight I’ll never know.
