Happy Easter from Mac’s Motor City Garage

Mac’s Motor City Garage wishes you a happy and peaceful Easter. -Photo by Tom Gibson

Tom Gibson is an extremely knowledgeable automotive historian and photographer. Generous and friendly with his expertise, he’s caught more than one mistake at this website and set us right, and for that we are grateful. Tom is also a frequent traveler to Cuba, and thus he is quite an authority on the unique cars of that nation, too. He kindly agreed to let us borrow this photo for our Easter greeting this year. Tom writes:

“Worthy of any Easter basket, a colorful lineup at the Seminario de San Carlos y San Ambrosio, on Cuba Tacón facing the Parque Luz Caballero in La Habana Vieja. The early-18th century seminary didn’t always look like this – the Neo-Baroque facade was completed in 1952 on what was the rear of the building.”

  1. Thanks for your kind words Bill, and congratulations on MMCG’s 2023 E.P. Ingersoll Award from the Society of Automotive Historians. It is greatly deserved!
