Video: The Fifteen Millionth Ford Model T, Parts 2 and 3

As promised, here are the second and third episodes of the excellent documentary, The Fifteen Millionth Model T Ford.

Now we’ve viewed episodes 2 and 3 of The Fifteen Millionth Model T Ford, produced by the Historic Vehicle Association and Hagerty Insurance, and we are pleased (but hardly surprised) to report that the second and third segments were just as great as the first,  which we shared here last week. Part two covers the numerous engineering innovations of the Model T, including the monobloc engine casting and planetary transmission, while part three details the impact of the moving assembly line and the five-dollar day on American life, among other topics—there’s a lot of material here.

We are also pleased to note that there is a fourth and final installment on the way, to be released next week, May 13. We’ll definitely be looking forward to that episode, entitled The End of an Era. But enough of our blabbering. Here are parts two and three below.
